Allhallows Parish Meeting 2021
Chairs Report
Welcome to the Annual Parish Meeting 2021
The past year has been another challenging year for everyone due to covid,
business and councils are still challenged due to restrictions
The parish is very lucky to have some excellent facilities for both the local communities and visitors
As a council we take pride in these and ensure they are fit for purpose and maintained to the best standard possible.
The centre is the main hub of the community it continues to provide a place where people can come together and enjoy the company of others while joining in an activity.
We have a very good play park which is enjoyed by not just our parish but visitors too. The parish council are to look into grants to replace some of our older equipment which will eventually need to be replaced in the future.
The work on the storeroom has been completed by the builders.
As a council we continue to support local causes which provide services and facilities for members of the community (i.e. Wigton Baths, Great North Air Ambulance and Allhallows church towards grass cutting.
When I look back over the last twelve months and reflect over the work and achievements we have made as a parish council all of which would not have been possible without the support of councillors. I would like to thank you all for your continued support
I would also like to thank my vice chair Ricky Bowness and our parish clerk Trevor Gear without whom I would find it very difficult to fulfil my role as Chair.
Thank you that concludes my report for this year
