A meeting of the Allhallows Parish Council was held in the Allhallows Centre, Fletchertown,
Aspatria on Wednesday 1st July 2015 at 7.30pm.
PRESENT: Messrs. M. Abbott, G. Thompson, A. Turner, L. Read, DA Tinnion, C. Mackenzie, and G. Edmondson
Also Present: T. Gear (Clerk), D. Wilson (Borough Councillor) and J. Lister (County Councillor)

103/2015 DECLARATIONS OF INTERESTS

104/2015 MINUTES
On the proposal of DA. Tinnion and seconded by A. Turner it was RESOLVED that the minutes of the meeting held on 3rd June 2015 be approved and signed as a correct record.
105/2015 POLICE MATTERS
PCSO Peter Crome gave his apologies and had sent a report which had been circulated by e-
106/2015 PUBLIC PARTICIPATION
There were no members of the public present and no matters were raised on behalf of the residents of the Parish.
107/2015 CORRESPONDENCE
A press release from Allerdale Borough Council advised that the Public Spaces Protection Order (dog exclusion) for the Recreation Field at Fletchertown takes effect on 10th July.

Letters had been received from David Hetherington Environment and Planning Services advising of the intention to fell over time and replant Whitelees Wood Baggrow. The clerk was asked to raise the protection of the foot path whilst the works were being undertaken
108/2015 CLERKS REPORT
The clerk gave a report on matters that had arisen since the last meeting including that work to clear the land adjacent to the Centre car park had been completed and the noticeboard had been erected at Fletchertown.
109/2015 ALLHALLOWS CENTRE
C. Mackenzie addressed the meeting and gave an overview of the work associated with the new boiler. She also informed members that the new venture of Sunday Lunches was proving popular, another Pizza Night will be held on 17/18 July and there was a Quiz Night on Friday night. There
are a number of exhibitions planned through the summer?
110/2015 DISTRICT AND COUNTY COUNCILLOR’S REPORTS
D Wilson advised that the first consultation on the Nuclear Site a Moorside had commenced but he wasn’t sure whether it was just the Cabinet of the Borough Council who could were being consulted or it was open to everybody.
J. Lister stated that there was not a lot happening and agreed to seek progress reports on the kerbs to the play park, flooding at Gowrie and the sign post at Fletchertown.
111/2015 OUTSIDE BODIES
A Turner addressed the meeting and advised that she had attended the Good Councillor Training which she found a bit rushed. On 25th June she had attended the CALC three tier meeting at Bothel
To which two speakers failed to attend. The subjects covered were the tidal lagoon off Maryport, the effect of the Iggesund wood wagons, Emergency planning and footway lighting.

All allotments apart from 1a had now been let.
Enquires remain in hand to recruit an odd job man.
It was agreed to seek an estimate for the replacement of the noticeboards in Baggrow and Gowrie
There now had been contact from the Bus Infrastructure team who would pay a site visit and advise of a suitable location for a bus shelter at Fletchertown
